Mon-Fri : 3:15 - 6:15PM (Saturday when needed) Summer hours: Mon-Fri: 9am-Noon PRB Elem Odyssey Lab NEW LAWS FOR STUDENT DRIVERS & PARENTS: The following new laws will be in place beginning January 1, 2015. Student drivers will need to meet these requirements if they will be doing their road test (license test) after January 1, 2015. Students will need to designate a primary driving supervisor who will supervise a teen driver for a majorityof their required driving hours. Typically, this will be a parent/guardian. The primary driving supervisor is strongly encouraged to attend a 90 minute supplemental parental course for the primary driving supervisor. If the primary driving supervisor does not attend, the student driver has additional requirements that must be met. More information about this will be provided by the course instructor prior to the beginning of the class. The required driving hours for teens on an instruction permit is increased to 40 total, and at least 15 hours must be at night, if the parental course is completed. If the primary driving supervisor chooses to not complete the parent supplemental course, the primary drivingsupervisor must verify on the driving log that the teen has driven at least 50 hours, with 15 hours at night. Teens are now required to present a driving log to the exam staff at the time of the road test, verifying that the teen has driven the appropriate number of hours with an adult. The log must contain the dates and lengths of driving time for the teen. It must also be signed by the primary driving supervisor who verifies the teen has driven the appropriate number of hours. The driving log will be submitted with the application for the provisional license. These changes will affect both Drivers Ed sessions.
